The aim of our association is to take the mystery out of finance for students of all levels. We will cover a variety of topics such as corporate finance, financial markets and new trends such as sustainable finance. We will also make the distinction between crypto-currency and blockchain, because they are different. Our priority is to encourage interaction between members to collectively develop our skills and share our knowledge, whatever our levels of expertise. We are open to everyone, whatever your language, gender or level of knowledge. Inclusivity is an important value for us. What’s more, all our events are in line with the school’s values, emphasising social responsibility and sustainable development.

We recently took part in a number of important events at the start of the year. Firstly, we worked with the Social and Sustainable Finance Chair to organise the International Conference on Finance, Business, and Accounting (ICFBA), an international conference focusing on finance as a whole. This event brought together 200 researchers from all over the world to present their studies and research. We were also privileged to welcome renowned speakers for enriching discussions. In collaboration with the Social and Sustainable Finance Chair, we were honoured to welcome Antoine Sirer, Head of Commitment at BNP, for a stimulating round table discussion. The discussions were highly instructive and addressed some important issues in finance. We also took part in two trading challenges, Bloomberg and Essec transaction, and organised regular finance courses, which are essential to our business. We are also planning a webinar in the near future, in collaboration with Aristide, providing another learning and information-sharing opportunity for our members. These events demonstrate our ongoing commitment to providing opportunities for learning and interaction in the field of finance. We are also in the process of creating a blockchain department and will soon be promoting Blockevent, the first major blockchain event in Montpellier.
