PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The MSc Producer & Entertainment Manager, developed jointly by MBS and ESMA, is a unique program designed to shape the creative leaders of tomorrow. Combining robust management expertise with an in-depth understanding of artistic professions, this program prepares students to tackle the challenges of the creative industries.
Whether in animation, film, video games, or visual effects, graduates acquire the skills necessary to lead complex projects blending innovation, strategy, and creativity. The program offers a comprehensive understanding of the interplay between art and business, making its participants key players in an ever-evolving sector.

PROGRAM OBJECTIVES
This program aims to provide you with dual expertise in management and audiovisual project management. You will develop essential skills to:
- Master project management and managerial competencies critical to successful productions.
- Oversee budgets and business aspects of creative projects in real-world conditions.
- Understand development and production techniques for audiovisual works, animated films, video games, and visual effects.
- Analyze the impact of technological innovations, such as artificial intelligence, on the entertainment industry.

PEDAGOGICAL PROGRAMME
The MSc Producer & Entertainment Manager offers training that combines strategic management with artistic production, leveraging the combined expertise of two prestigious institutions: MBS, for management excellence, and ESMA, for artistic production expertise.
The program is structured over two complementary years:
During the first year, students strengthen their understanding of strategic and operational principles of management and production processes in the entertainment industries.
Key Objectives:
- Master the fundamentals of Management, Human Resources, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Project Management.
- Develop analytical skills through case studies to:
- Assess the potential of a production project.
- Establish financing strategies.
- Oversee the quality of productions in 3D animation, video games, and film production.
- Negotiate effectively in intercultural contexts.
- Learn to use specific digital tools for management and production.
- Participate in workshops and MasterClasses led by industry professionals.
This year provides a global perspective on the challenges of the entertainment industry while introducing students to the practical issues of the sector.
The second year focuses on honing skills in managing complex projects and on hands-on production immersion.
Key Objectives :
- Gain advanced expertise in international distribution strategies, legal and contractual aspects, and prospecting for innovative projects.
- Complete a concrete project by joining a production team.
In this context, each student assumes a key role as a producer:
- Assess the potential of a project and design a development plan.
- Develop a financing plan and fundraising strategy.
- Establish strategic partnerships.
- Oversee the production file and coordinate the team.
- Control the quality of deliverables and resolve any issues.
- Present the project professionally.
This immersive experience enables students to adopt a confident professional stance, leveraging the latest technological innovations, including the integration of AI in production.

- Animation studios producing films for cinema or television: feature films, short films, and series.
- Post-production companies creating visual effects for films, animated advertisements, or TV channel branding.
- Video game studios producing trailers and cinematics.
- Studios creating digital imagery for industrial, architectural, scientific, and medical applications.

- Large video game studios: Ubisoft, Dontnod Entertainment, Quantic Dream, Spiders, Ankama, Voodoo, Kylotonn, Arkane Studios, Focus Home Interactive, Larian Studios, etc.

- Video game and board game publishers: toy and electronic game manufacturers.

TUITION FEES AND SCHOLARSHIPS
The tuition fees for the MSc Producer & Entertainment Manager are €13,400 per year.
To promote social inclusion and equal opportunities, MBS offers individual scholarships of up to €2,000, based on admission results. To be considered for a scholarship, apply early as spots are limited.
