MSc Sustainable & Inclusive Finance students are invited to explore the European Investment Bank
MBS offers ten Masters of Science (MSc) programmes covering all specialisations in Finance, Marketing, Strategy and Management. Each programme is built on immersive experiential learning and students who have chosen the MSc Sustainable & Inclusive Finance have the opportunity to go behind the scenes of the European Investment Bank through four lectures given by the institution’s expert leaders and a visit to the Bank’s headquarters in Luxembourg.
A programme led by the Social & Sustainable Finance Chair
The MSc Sustainable & Inclusive Finance is a programme run by the Social and Sustainable Finance Chair, which aims to train a new generation of managers who want to build new models for the financial sector in order to meet social and environmental challenges. Through this programme, students are prepared for the AMF (Autorité des Marchés Financiers) Sustainable Finance certification, a complementary module to the general AMF exam, which is mandatory for a large number of positions in the financial and banking sectors.
Explore the world of major financial institutions to become a leader of innovation
Upon completing the MSc Sustainable & Inclusive Finance programme, students have the skills to move into the social finance sector, including microfinance and social banking, and sustainable finance, which aims to direct financial capital flows towards projects that focus on achieving the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
To understand the core business of major financial institutions, a series of lectures began on 6 February with a meeting with the Paris office of the European Investment Bank (EIB). Students will then learn about the EIB’s bbusiness cycle and activities in France, the EIB Climate Bank Roadmap and the European Investment Fund. At the end of the course, students will have the opportunity to visit the European Investment Bank in Luxembourg, where they will have the opportunity to network with the speakers again.
