MBS – School of Business Hosts the Entretiens de l’Excellence to Promote Equal Opportunities

On Saturday, February 1st, 2025, MBS had the honor of hosting a new edition of the Entretiens de l’Excellence. This flagship event aims to inspire and guide young people aged 13 to 18, from all backgrounds, towards ambitious professional paths.

A Unique Format to Inspire Young Talents

Created in 2006 and organized in over 42 cities in France and internationally, the Entretiens de l’Excellence seeks to spark ambition in more than 15,000 young people by sharing exemplary career paths and experiences.

The event offers a unique opportunity for young people to meet professionals from various sectors while providing them with key information about fields, careers, and opportunities that will help them build their academic and professional futures.

This edition, held on MBS’s Montpellier campus, brought together nearly 50 inspiring speakers from diverse fields such as aeronautics, healthcare, digital technology, justice, culture, the environment, and craftsmanship. Through interactive roundtables and workshops, the speakers shared their experiences, life journeys, education, successes, as well as challenges, to guide students in making informed future choices.

An Edition Marked by Inspiring Journeys

To support this edition, Jaouad Hajjaji, former participant in the “Cordées de la Réussite” now working as a Test Engineer at LATITUDE and the event’s sponsor, shared his advice with the young students: “It’s essential to stay curious and never close any doors.”

Oana Cociorva, Global Business Development, Strategy & Operation Lead at DELL Technologies and the event’s sponsor, encouraged the young participants to “dare and believe in themselves” throughout this new edition.

An Event Embedded in the DNA of MBS

Organized by Sophie Fournials, Project Manager for Equal Opportunities at MBS’s CSR department, in partnership with Nathalie Peltier, Deputy Head of Lycée Jules Guesde, and the Face Hérault association, this event also involved a team of 15 MBS student volunteers. It is the result of a meaningful collaboration that aligns with MBS’s commitment to diversity and equal opportunities.

By opening its doors to young talents and connecting them with inspiring professionals, MBS is actively contributing to shaping the next generation of leaders.
