As part of its Summer School, MBS welcomes over 50 students from all over the world to explore the links between French culture, luxury and sustainable business. The program enables participants to discover how cultural differences influence decision-making and management skills.
Indulging in French Excellence: The World of Luxury
Within this program, participants have the privilege of exploring the specificities of French culture through the realms of wine, jewelry, perfume, and the luxury industry. By delving into these domains, students gain a deeper understanding of the distinctive French style.
Unlocking Sustainable Business in Europe: Innovative Management Practices
The Summer School provides an exciting platform to explore sustainable business practices in Europe. Participants gain insights into European business strategies, alternative organizational models, and social entrepreneurship. They are encouraged to think outside the box and envision new management approaches that prioritize responsible business principles.
An Intensive Learning Journey: Credits and Flexibility
With approximately 80 hours of coursework, this intensive 4-week program offers participants the opportunity to earn 12 ECTS credits. Whether students choose to enroll for the full four weeks or select two consecutive weeks, the program provides flexibility to accommodate individual preferences and schedules.
Bridging Theory and Practice: Real-Life Experiences
During the first module, participants unravel the essence of French luxury and lifestyle, exploring its history, current trends, and cultural heritage. Engaging activities, such as visits to “Les Nouvelles Grisettes” and discovering the French film festivals, provide an immersive experience of French culture.
The second module delves into sustainable business in Europe, examining market opportunities, international strategies for European wineries, and responsible management approaches. Participants also had the opportunity to visit “La Maison Le Breton” BLB Vignobles, a local wine producer, to gain firsthand knowledge of the industry.
