MBS School of Business confirms its position among the world’s leading business schools in the Financial Times Masters in Management 2026 ranking.
Its Master in Management programme ranks 60th worldwide (joint), 11th among ranked French Master in Management programmes and joint 1st in the South of France.
This recognition highlights the strength of the MBS model and its growing reputation in France and internationally.
In the latest edition of the Financial Times Masters in Management ranking, MBS School of Business stands out with several strong results:
- Joint 60th worldwide;
- 14th among ranked French business schools;
- 11th among ranked French Master in Management programmes;
- Joint 1st in the South of France among Master in Management programmes included in the ranking;
- $73K weighted salary three years after graduation;
- Recognition for its international outlook, graduate employability and integration of sustainability into its programmes.
In an increasingly competitive global environment, marked by the rise of several Asian institutions, particularly Indian business schools, MBS confirms its position on the international business education landscape.
Published annually by the Financial Times, the Masters in Management ranking compares leading management programmes offered by business schools around the world.
To compile the ranking, the Financial Times assesses a range of criteria related to graduates’ experiences and career outcomes, including:
- Career progression and employability;
- Return on investment;
- Student experience;
- International exposure among students and faculty;
- Academic quality;
- Integration of sustainability and social responsibility.
The ranking is therefore a key international benchmark for assessing how effectively business schools prepare graduates to succeed in a demanding, international and constantly evolving professional environment.
With a weighted salary of $73K three years after graduation, MBS is recognised for the professional value of its degree.
Work-study opportunities are another major strength of the MBS model. They enable students to gain significant professional experience alongside their academic studies. Under a French apprenticeship contract, students can also have their tuition fees covered by their employer.
International exposure is at the heart of the MBS Master in Management programme.
Study-abroad opportunities, double degrees, courses taught in English, international internships and a diverse community of international students and faculty enable students to build a truly global academic and professional profile, aligned with the expectations of international employers.
Graduate employability is one of the programme’s key strengths highlighted by the ranking.
Throughout their studies, students gain professional experience through internships and work-study programmes, while benefiting from the support and services provided by the MBS Career Center.
This approach creates strong connections between academic learning, skills development and preparation for the job market.
The Financial Times ranking also considers how sustainability and social responsibility are integrated into business school curricula.This dimension is fully aligned with MBS’s ambition: to educate managers who can incorporate environmental and societal challenges into their decision-making and contribute to the transformation of organisations and the economy.
With this latest result, MBS ranks joint 1st among Master in Management programmes in the South of France included in the Financial Times Masters in Management 2026 ranking.
Based in Montpellier, in the heart of the Occitanie region, MBS is strengthening its position as a leading business school in the South of France while continuing to expand its national and international reach.
For students choosing MBS School of Business, this international recognition provides an additional indicator of the value and visibility of its Master in Management programme, both in France and abroad.
André Deljarry, President of MBS, said:
“In an increasingly competitive global environment, MBS’s continued presence in the Financial Times ranking is a strong sign of our international recognition. This performance reflects the strength of our model, built on academic excellence, international exposure, work-study opportunities and our commitment to a more responsible economy.”
This latest edition of the ranking further reinforces the core strengths of the MBS model: academic excellence, employability, internationalisation, work-study opportunities and responsibility.
MBS continues to build on this momentum, with the ambition of creating even greater value for its students, graduates and partners.
