Short Bio

Dr. Senda Fattoum studies how organizations create new ways of working, and who is included or left out when they do. She conducts her research inside the organizations concerned: hospitals learning to treat patients at home, firms developing drugs for diseases too rare to be profitable, and a Tunisian local economy where environmental projects are built around people excluded from work.

She is Assistant Professor of Strategy and Sustainability, Programme Director of the MSc International Business, a member of the COAST Chair on sustainability transformations, and the founder of the school’s Health & Innovation for Society research group.

Her work has appeared in Organization and Research Policy. She writes teaching cases from the fields she researches, published by Sage Business Cases and The Case Centre.

She came to management from pharmacy — a doctorate in pharmacy from Monastir, an MPhil in genomics and personalised medicine, a master’s in human pathologies from Aix-Marseille and an advanced master’s in biotech industry management — before completing her PhD in Business Administration at Grenoble École de Management.
