Short Bio

Dr. Reza Alikhani is an Assistant Professor specializing in Operations and Supply Chain Management within the Operations, Information, & Decisions Department at Montpellier Business School (MBS) in France. With a rich academic background, Dr. Alikhani has honed his expertise through diverse international experiences. He completed a year and a half as a Postdoctoral Researcher at EM Normandie Business School and undertook a six-month Visiting Fellowship at DePaul University in Chicago. Dr. Alikhani earned his Ph.D. in Production and Operations Management from the University of Tehran, Iran.

Dr. Alikhani's research focuses on the application of operations research tools and techniques to optimize supply chain and logistics management. His scholarly interests include supply chain resilience, sustainable operations management, supply chain collaboration, and retail supply chains. His work has been featured in leading academic journals such as the International Journal of Production Economics, Omega, and the Journal of Cleaner Production. Additionally, Dr. Alikhani serves as an ad hoc reviewer for several prestigious journals, including Production and Operations Management, the International Journal of Production Economics, and the European Journal of Operational Research.

Throughout his career, Dr. Alikhani has collaborated with numerous international companies, contributing to projects that enhance operational efficiencies and foster innovation. He remains actively involved in research initiatives that promote academic and industry collaborations.
