In line with MBS’s core values and the transition to a more sustainable world, this specialisation aims to prepare and train the future responsible leaders of luxury marketing. Studying luxury marketing in France — the home of world-famous luxury brands (Hermès, Louis Vuitton, Dior, Chanel…) — and in the Montpellier region, with its rich tradition in tourism, hospitality, wine and gastronomy, is an excellent choice for those who wish to learn more about French excellence and savoir-faire, and how to market luxury products in a sustainable world.
Programme objectives
The MSc Luxury Marketing in a Sustainable World is a specialisation within the DESSMO programme. It aims to enable graduates to apply their expertise to guide strategic decision-making, implement it within their scope of activity with a view to overall performance, and contribute to the digital, environmental and societal transition in a multicultural, open and diverse context. In particular, it enables students to:
- Understand and apply marketing strategies and tactics to successfully manage a luxury brand.
- Learn the principles of French excellence and savoir-faire in luxury goods manufacturing, and apply this knowledge to promote and sell luxury products, both online and offline.
- Understand the sustainability and responsibility challenges facing the luxury sector.
- Develop the ability to propose creative and innovative solutions — an essential and highly valued skill in the luxury industry.

All applicants are eligible for a scholarship of up to €2,000, deducted directly from tuition fees, subject to availability and depending on their admission results. We recommend applying early, as places are limited.

Not at all. Many of our MSc programmes are taught entirely in English, and MBS has a deeply international environment. We do encourage students to learn some basic French to ease daily life, and we offer language support on campus to help you settle in.
MBS does not provide accommodation directly, but once you have been admitted we will support you in your search. You will have access to a dedicated housing portal where you can find student residence rooms, shared apartments and private studios.

Yes, but to join a work-study programme from the first year you must have been residing in France for at least one year. Alternatively, you can apply to the Grande Ecole Programme and start a work-study contract from your second year onwards.
