STUDENT EXPERIENCE

The student experience is present throughout all key stages of a student’s journey at MBS: from the first contact, admissions, integration, the teaching period, professional development, international exposure, interactions with administrative services, tools and resources available, campus life, student organizations, all the way to graduation and alumni relations.

A dedicated team leads this project with the ambition of supporting MBS’s strategic goal to place the student at the heart of its priorities and to work closely with them to meet their expectations in the best way possible.

THE MY MBS 2.0 APP

The Student Experience team surveys students every year on all aspects of their journey to propose projects that best meet their needs. This led to the launch of the new MY MBS 2.0 mobile app, designed to centralize in one place all the useful information and tools related to student life: class schedules, absences, grades, internship and work-study offers, directories, various services… This new feature meets the need for real-time communication with students via push notifications.

A dedicated team leads this project with the ambition of supporting MBS’s strategic goal to place the student at the heart of its priorities and to work closely with them to meet their expectations in the best way possible.

  • Group Life Coaching: Collective support in small groups, focused on a specific theme. Three formats are available:

    • Life Coaching workshops (example: getting to know yourself better to manage stress).

    • Life Coaching games (example: act out a scenario related to self-confidence in a fun way through a coaching game).

DEPLOYMENT OF MBS ENTREPRENEURSHIP CENTER ACTIVITIES ON THE PARIS CAMPUS

The opening of MBS’s new campus in Paris is an opportunity to expand the services of its incubator, recognized for its high-quality entrepreneurial support.

This document outlines strategic and operational directions to establish and develop the incubator in Paris, building on the success of Montpellier while adapting to the specificities of the Parisian ecosystem.

Creation of a “satellite branch” of the existing incubator

Objective: Reproduce the successes and methodologies of the Montpellier incubator while adapting to the specifics of the Parisian market.

Actions:

  • Offer services similar to those in Montpellier: support, workshops, coaching, fundraising preparation, etc.

  • Open a dedicated entrepreneurship space on the Paris campus, including a coworking area accessible to student-entrepreneurs.

  • Organize a Startup Week on campus to raise awareness about entrepreneurship.

  • Inter-campus collaboration for incubated startups to create synergies between the Montpellier and Paris campuses.

  • Facilitate access to Montpellier’s infrastructure for Paris-based students (site visits, networking, etc.).

Development of a network of local stakeholders / access to funding

Objective: Integrate the incubator into the Parisian entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Actions:

  • Develop partnerships with Parisian incubators and accelerators.

  • Involve MBS alumni based in Paris to mentor students and share their experience.

  • Pool certain major events (pitch days, investor meetings) to maximize the visibility of incubated projects.

  • Build partnerships with local investment networks, Parisian business angels, and crowdfunding platforms.

Visibility, promotion, and targeted communication

Objective: Position the MBS Paris incubator as a key player in the entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Actions:

  • Promote via launch events and media partnerships.

  • Share success stories of entrepreneurs incubated at MBS Montpellier to boost the Paris initiative’s credibility.

  • Create dedicated content (videos, articles) to promote the incubator’s services to students, alumni, and businesses.

  • Organize pitch events in Paris to showcase student projects.

  • Help incubated startups access competitions and prizes (e.g., Prix Pépite, Tremplin Entreprises, etc.).
