MBS Summer School 2024: Bridging Cultures and Sustainable Practices
As the MBS Summer School 2024 draws to a close, we celebrate the remarkable journey our students have undertaken. This year’s program, designed to immerse participants in the richness of French culture and the progressive landscape of sustainable business in Europe, has been a resounding success.
The first part of their journey immersed the students in the luxurious side of French culture. They engaged in a variety of unique activities:
- Jewelry Savoir-faire: Under the guidance of guest lecturers specializing in precious stones, students delved into the intricate craftsmanship that defines French jewelry.
- Haute Couture Business Game: Through interactive simulations, participants experienced the dynamics of the haute couture industry, gaining insights into high fashion business strategies.
- Stained Glass Workshop: At the Atelier du Vitrail, students explored the artistic process behind creating stunning stained glass, blending creativity with tradition.
In the second part of the program, the focus shifted to sustainable business practices within the European context. This segment included:
- Doing Business in Europe: This module provided an in-depth understanding of the European business environment, with an emphasis on sustainability and innovation.
- Managing Otherwise: Students learned about alternative management approaches, highlighting the importance of ethical leadership and sustainable decision-making.
Throughout the program, students from diverse backgrounds and cultures came together to explore the intersection of cultural differences, decision-making, and management skills. Their dedication and enthusiasm have not only enriched their own experiences but also contributed to a vibrant and unforgettable Summer School 2024.
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all the students for their hard work and cultural contributions. As we look forward to future editions of the MBS Summer School, we remain committed to fostering global learning and sustainable practices in business education.
