MBS ranked among the Top 3 French business schools and among the Top 100 worldwide in the Shanghai Global Ranking of Academic Subjects
MBS has once again achieved top honors in four of the Shanghai 2024 Global Ranking of Academic Subjects, placing in the Top 100 worldwide and Top 3 in France in two key areas: business administration and finance.
Just a few weeks after being ranked 20th in the USNews world rankings, MBS has once again earned recognition for the relevance of its Research, which feeds into the school’s teaching methods and strengthens its international impact.
International recognition for MBS academic research
In the latest Shanghai thematic rankings, MBS confirms its position as one of the world’s most influential institutions, ranking in the Top 75 in business administration, in the Top 100 in finance, then in the Top 300 in management and economics.
This recognition underlines not only the quality of the school’s programs, but also the relevance of its academic research in strategic areas. On a national scale, MBS takes 3rd place in France for the “business administration” and “finance” categories.
Academic research serving education and innovation
These results confirm MBS’s commitment to producing top-quality academic research, aligned with the current challenges of societal transition and sustainable innovation. This work is also supported by a rich ecosystem comprising six chairs, three centers and two research laboratories, enabling close collaborations between academia and business. The COAST Chair, for example, plays a key role in the European ENFASYS project, dedicated to promoting sustainable agricultural practices, while the MIND Chair develops tools for assessing diversity and inclusion in organizations, as with the establishment of the Mixity Campus platform.
This strategy reinforces MBS’s mission to prepare leaders and experts capable of meeting tomorrow’s challenges and acting in favor of responsible and inclusive development. Indeed, since 2015, a quarter of the intellectual contributions of MBS Lecturers have focused on the themes of CSR and/or sustainable development, influencing both the teaching content and the academic resources to which students are exposed.
These rankings attest to the international recognition of MBS’s research and reinforce its attractiveness to students, researchers and partners who share this academic and societal ambition.
