MBS is the 11th best French Business School according to l’Etudiant Rankings and is up 2 places from last year
On Tuesday 5 January, L’Etudiant published its 2023 ranking of the French business schools, based on a comparison of more than sixty criteria to help students in their choice of study.
MBS is ranked 11th ex-aequo and has moved up two places based on the key elements of its positioning: its academic excellence, its commitment to social openness, sustainable development, and the satisfaction of its alumni.
What are the strengths of MBS highlighted in this ranking?
The methodology of l’Etudiant’s ranking is based on the comparison of more than sixty indicators grouped into seven major families and built from the testimonies of graduates.
The good performance of MBS is based in particular on academic excellence. Indeed, the Montpellier Grande Ecole obtains the highest score in many criteria related to this dimension, such as international labels or the impact of its research.
Another strong point of the school in this ranking is the reputation of MBS on the international scene, based on its network of partner universities and its performance in the Financial Times and Shanghai rankings.
Montpellier Business School also scores well in terms of alumni satisfaction, with a 4.79/5 rating for satisfaction with the school’s social diversity, a key element in the DNA of MBS. “This result directly reflects all our actions to guarantee social openness in the Grande Ecole Programme. Concretely, the equal opportunities policy of MBS consists of more than 1600 students who will be exempted from tuition fees thank to apprenticeship and more than 120 scholarships granted each year by the school”, explains Bruno Ducasse, General Manager of MBS.
Recognition of the school’s commitment to the ecological transition
For the 2023 issue, l’Etudiant granted us an additional point for the DD&RS label, which assesses the real actions taken by higher education institutions in terms of sustainable development and social responsibility.
This success directly relates to the school’s ambition to implement new educational tools each year, such as the Act For Change Excellence course, to develop students’ leadership in terms of social and environmental transition, while waiting for the future campus to be built.
