Financial Times 2023: the MBS Grande Ecole Programme is ranked 51st best Master’s in Management in the world
On Monday 11 September, the Financial Times published its 2023 list of the world’s best Masters in Management. This year, the MBS Grande Ecole Programme is ranked 51st in the world, up 5 places.
A NEW METHODOLOGY FOR THIS FAMOUS INTERNATIONAL RANKING
To establish its 2023 ranking, the Financial Times has chosen to integrate new parameters into its analysis.
First of all, the British daily is building its global top 100 by relying mainly on the opinions of graduates, by interviewing alumni three years after the end of their programme, on issues related to professional integration and career development.
To meet the needs of future students, the Financial Times also evaluates criteria relating to the internationalization of the school, diversity, academic quality and faculty performance.
However, this year, the daily has chosen to include three new parameters to perfect its analysis: the strength of the alumni network, the carbon footprint of the schools and the integration of ESG criteria into their governance.
THE STRENGTHS OF MBS
The 5-place jump in the rankings for the MBS Grande Ecole Programme highlights a number of strong points: the return on investment of the degree thanks to work-study systems, the integration of courses dedicated to CSR, the internationalisation of the teaching staff, and the parity within its classes, etc.
These good results reflect the recent publication of the Shanghai Ranking, which each year assesses the research performance of the world’s top 1,000 higher education institutions. Once again this year, MBS was the only French business school to be listed.
The distinctive feature of the MBS Grande Ecole programme is its ability to adapt to meet the challenges of transition, with the creation of the Act for Change programme of excellence, but also to meet the needs of students, with the possibility since the start of the new academic year of spending a semester abroad from the first year of study.
