At MBS, we are confident that inclusion is a driver of performance and collective transformation for businesses and the economy. That is why we want to embody the inclusion of all diversities among the world’s leading schools.
To achieve this goal, MBS opens its doors to students from a variety of backgrounds through the diversification of admission paths to its competitive exams.
MBS and its foundation invest more than one million euros each year in scholarships and direct aid for nearly 200 students who meet social and academic criteria.
Finally, MBS and its students support high school students who have the motivation and potential to achieve excellence through tutoring as well as academic and cultural support.
A social worker and a psychologist are available to provide advice, support and guidance to students.
Students also have secure access to the Wethics platform to report any discrimination, unequal treatment or gender-based or sexual violence.

EDUCATIVE SOLIDARITY AND SUPPORT PROGRAMMES
Since 2008, MBS has been working with several middle and high schools located in the sensitive areas of the Montpellier academy as part of the national “Cordées de la Réussite” programme.
This partnership takes the form of numerous measures such as tutoring as well as academic, school and cultural support. We seek to support students who have the motivation and ability to pursue a course of excellence.
The MBS accredited “cordée” includes 10 educational institutions:
6 secondary schools: Arthur Rimbaud, Simone Veil, Les Escholiers de la Mosson, Fontcarrade, Les Garrigues, Marcel Pagnol
4 high schools : Jules Guesde, Jean Monnet, Mendès France, l’Internat d’Excellence
From secondary school to the baccalaureate: The MBS Pathways to Excellence
The Pathways of Excellence support deserving young people enrolled in the schools that are part of the Cordée from the last year of secondary school to the baccalaureate. Students are selected by their professors in the last year of secondary school on the basis of their academic results and their social background. The programme helps students discover and understand student life and higher education through visits to universities and companies, cultural trips and homework help on the MBS campus. 80 new students join this programme every year.
From the final year of secondary school to two-year higher education diploma: EAP pathway (Excellence and Professional App'titude)
The EAP course was created in 2012 to optimise the chances of students with a vocational or technical Baccalaureate to continue their studies in higher education by preparing them for the BTS, but also by setting up a specific course focused on strengthening their language skills, oral and written expression, writing summary notes and general knowledge. The programme is spread over 200 hours throughout the two years of the BTS, i.e. 100 hours in the first year and 100 hours in the second year. Montpellier Business School’s instructors provide support to the students in this ambitious programme.
