Discover the first pictures of the MBS forest

Last fall, MBS joined forces with Reforest’Action to allow each student and employee to virtually plant a tree. Today it is concrete and we are pleased to inform you that the MBS forest is born!
A forest of 4000 trees, nestled in the heart of the Haut Languedoc regional nature park, in Lamontélarié (about 2 hours from Montpellier), with the aim of reforesting 17 hectares where the old spruce stand was attacked by bark beetles as well as by strong gales. To prevent this pest from spreading, new species (Douglas fir and larch, diversified with beech), better adapted to the site, were planted.
Eco-benefits generated by the MBS forest :
– 600 tons of CO2 stored
– 12,000 animal shelters created
– 16,000 months of oxygen production
– 4000 hours of work created
The whole MBS community is committed, through these 4000 trees planted, to act concretely against the climate emergency and for the protection of biodiversity.
