Short Bio

Pr. Yves Barlette is a Full Professor of Information Systems and Cybersecurity, having joined the MBS School of Business in 1989. He holds a Ph.D. and an HDR (accreditation to supervise research) in Management Information Systems from the University of Montpellier. His research focuses on behavioral information security. He published in journals such as Systèmes d’Information et Management (SIM), Production Planning and Control (PPC), International Journal of Information Management (IJIM) and Journal of Global Information Management (JGIM). He is the author or co-author of fifteen books and book chapters. He is a distinguished member of the association for information systems (AIS) and a member of the French association information et management (AIM). He is member of the Editorial Board of SIM, Associate Editor of Communications of the AIS, and a member of the Editorial Review Board of IJIM. He chairs the AIM Special Interest Group on Information Security (GT-AIM SSI). The main courses he has taught in recent years focus on Cybersecurity and Management Information Systems.
