Short Bio

Dr Ewa Lombard (née Miendlarzewska), Assistant Professor in Sustainable Management at Montpellier Business School. She holds a PhD in Neurosciences from Uni Geneva and Uni Lausanne, Switzerland (2016) and a double MSc in Management (2007), Bocconi, Italy & HSG, Switzerland). She teaches Future Thinking (in PGE3), Neuroscience of Financial Decision-Making in the MSc in Finance and Management of Research Projects in the digital DBA. She is also a lecturer in Psychology of Finance at Geneva Finance Research Institute (University of Geneva). She published a sci-fi novel and is interested in social innovation, sustainable decision-making and new methods of science communication. Major topics of her research are influence of emotions on learning and decision making for sustainability, ethical decision making in finance, the role of emotions, future thinking and narrative communication for behavioral change.
Her research has been published in a variety of journals including Neuroscience & Biobehavioral Reviews, Journal of Cognitive Neuroscience, Organizational Research Methods, Nature Scientific Reports, Frontiers in Neuroscience and Frontiers in Psychology.
