Short Bio

 

Prof. (Dr.) Rameshwar Dubey is a Full Professor-Operations Management at Montpellier Business School, France, a Visiting Professor-Operations Management at Liverpool Business School, Liverpool John Moores University, and an Adjunct Professor at the Indian Institute of Management, Jammu. Rameshwar is also a Senior Associate Editor of the International Journal of Logistics Management, Associate Editors of the Journal of Humanitarian Logistics and Supply Chain Management, International Journal of Information Management, Operations Management Research, Benchmarking: An International Journal, Global Journal of Flexible Systems Management, Management of Environmental Quality, and consulting editor of Hospital Topics a reputable Journal in the field of healthcare operations management. He has also taught at some of the leading international schools, which include the University of Hull, Leeds University Business School, University of Leeds, MDI Gurgaon, India, Indian Institute of Management, Jammu, India, the Faculty of Engineering, UNESP, Bauru, SP, Brazil, Southern University of Science and Technology of China, Stockholm School of Business, Stockholm, Sweden, and Audencia Business School, Nantes, France. Rameshwar’s research interests include supply chain management, operations management, and business analytics, with a strong focus on humanitarian operations management, sustainable supply chain management, supply chain design issues, and the application of emerging technologies in disaster relief operations. For his academic work, Rameshwar has received several awards: the outstanding reviewer award International Journal of Production Economics, the Journal of Business Research, the Journal of Cleaner Production, and the best reviewer award from the Journal of Humanitarian Logistics and Supply Chain Management (2014, 2016), Management Decision (2018) and received a title on 8th November 2019 at Bauru, SP, Brazil for a lifetime commitment to advancing scientific knowledge on supply chain management, operations management, information systems and technology for promoting innovation, enhancing industrial competitiveness and improving quality of life, both in Brazil and worldwide. Rameshwar has been shortlisted among the top 1% of most cited scholars based on the Web of Science database and among the leading 200 scholars (based on the SCOPUS database) in Business Management and Operations Research. Rameshwar is an active member of several professional societies, an active reviewer of over 75 leading international scientific journals, a reviewer of PhD theses, and other professional bodies engaged in the dissemination of grants. Rameshwar has successfully guided seven PhD theses and five DBA students. Rameshwar has examined over thirty-seven PhD and DBA theses from the U.K., France, Australia, UAE, India, and Pakistan.
